Performing a body slam from the top ropes onto the back of the bandwagon, THQ is readying their own game-specific control accessory, to be added to the pile in 2010. The news comes from an article in the LA Business Journal on the success that companies such as Activision have had with controller based games like Guitar Hero. Nestled away in said article is THQ's Chief Executive Brian Farrell spilling the beans on an upcoming controller-based title that he believes will give the company a "competitive edge".

I received a message from Elaine Beemer aka Ooopy of TheBlueSkittle.com and Gaming4Others.org in my facebook messages about this and thought it was just too amazing not to share.
"I'm happy to report that Gamers Outreach Foundation has recently unveiled its first 'gaming kiosk' prototype that we'll be supplying to children's hospitals (eventually) across the country. We've been working hard these past few weeks to get the kiosk's basic design into a tangible form. At CasualCore, we cover a range of alternative, retro and indie titles.
You’d be forgiven for thinking that as lovers of casual games, we’d be really happy about the fact that Microsoft are launching themselves at the casual market in full force but actually, we’re not impressed.
